PREPARING MY HEART FOR EASTER
In preparation for Easter this week, we want to focus in a few very specific ways to help prepare our hearts to celebrate our Savior.
Pray these prayers as we lean into all that the Lord wants to show us this week.
God, help me see the significance of Easter in a new way this year.
God, allow someone to see for the first time the significance of Easter this year.
God, prepare my heart to remember and celebrate Jesus, and just how much you love me.
This week we encourage you to read, listen, experience, and respond with us in an attitude of reflection and reverence for the cross. Use the resources below to prepare your heart for Easter.
The following reading plan is a walk through passages in the gospels according to how events unfolded during Jesus' last week before His crucifixion. Meditate on these verses as your prepare your heart for our Good Friday and Easter services.
The Day Jesus died...
Join us as we reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus together. Services will be held at Kellogg Middle School at 5:00PM & 7:00PM. Come early. Wear black.
Because of the nature of the element in the services, childcare will be provided for birth-5th grade.
Christ is risen!
The story doesn't end on Friday. The biggest party of the year is happening on Sunday morning. It's the greatest miracle in the history of the world and we think that's worth celebrating!
Bring signs, noisemakers, and get ready to cheer that our God is ALIVE!
We'll have two services Sunday, April 16 at 9AM and 11AM at Kellogg Middle School.
